The People

of Brown Cow Studios

(Despite what Brownie thinks, there really are people here!)

Yes, it's true, there really are people behind Brown Cow Studios.  Here's a look at who we are.

Feel free to e-mail any of us.  We enjoy meeting people and making new friends - especially Brownie!  So, if you have questions or comments, or just want to hang and chew the cud for a bit, let us know.  We'd love to hear from you, and we're glad to help out in any way we can.

Fred Pagano

Fred@BrownCowStudios.com

Guiding light or glowing ember?  We're not sure, but he's certainly glowing in this photo!  Our founder and chief producer, announcer, web designer, bottle washer and cattle herder.

Bitten by the radio bug when he was only 16, Fred is a veteran broadcaster with hundreds of programs and commercials to his credit.  He's voiced spots for banks, motorcycle dealers, clothing stores and who knows what else.  On the right is a screen shot from Fred's WBPX-TV show. He hasn't changed much.

In his spare time Fred enjoys competitive gardening and holds several blue ribbons for his mouth-watering cherry tomatoes and firey hot peppers.  He's an avid reader of non-fiction and has recently returned to an old hobby, motorcycling.  Unfortunately, he doesn't have much free time these days.

Dorothy Fleischer

Dot@BrownCowStudios.com

It's a family-run business, and Dorothy's surely part of the family.  It's a good family, too!  But the fact is, only someone who answers to the name of Mrs. Fred could keep Mr. Fred in line, and that's what she does.

Besides keeping Fred in line, Dorothy is Brown Cow's business manager and supervising copy editor.

Dorothy is a member of the National Association of Science Writers, and specializes in explaining technical concepts in non-technical language.  Thanks to Dorothy's unique talents, Brown Cow Studios offer our clients the best presentations in scientific and technical subject matter.

And as if she hasn't enough to do already, Dorothy is also an administrator and editor in the Optics and Quantum Electronics group at MIT's Research Laboratory of Electronics.  She has over 25 years of expeirence writing about scientific, technical, and environmental topics.

Read Dorothy's articles about electronics research.

There wouldn't be a Brown Cow Studios without me!  There might be studios, but they wouldn't be Brown Cow Studios, would they?  Nope!  Who knows what they'd be!  Knowing Fred he'd probably call it "Pagano Productions" or something stupid like that.  Isn't Brown Cow Studios a way cooler name? I think so!

Fred thinks he's the boss, but let me tell you something:  He's not.  I am!  Only problem is I have hooves, not fingers.  So I can't type.  So Fred does all the typing on this web site.  And he who controls the web site controls the copy.  But I tell him what to do, you'd better believe it!  Most of the time he listens, but not always.  He's kinda rank that way.

Yes, I do have my own e-mail address.  I love getting mail!  But like I said, I have hooves, not hands, and the lack of fingers and opposable thumbs really gets in the way of sending replies.  So it may take me a while to respond.  But you never know.  So send me something anyway,  It's a nice change from chewing my cud all day long.  Moo!
